Larry Dean Claybrook answered the call to serve his country during the Vietnam War, joining the United States Army and serving from June of 1966 until January of 1967. During his time in service, he made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country in Vietnam. His story is one of courage, sacrifice, and a life taken far too soon. While decades have passed, Larry’s memory continues to live on through the family and loved ones who remain in the Hillsboro area and still deeply miss him. Today, the Hillsboro community pauses to honor and remember Larry Dean Claybrook for his service, his sacrifice, and the life he gave in service to his country. His name and legacy will not be forgotten.
