SP4 Robert Suever

From 1965 to 1967, Robert Suever, proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, answering the call to serve his country during a difficult and defining time in American history. His service reflects courage, sacrifice, and dedication to something greater than himself. While much of his military journey may never fully be captured in words, the impact of his service continues to be felt through the life and family he built afterward.

Today, he is honored not only as a veteran, but also as a devoted father. His daughter, Rachel, shared a simple but heartfelt message: “Thank you for your service and for being an amazing dad.” Those words speak to the character, strength, and love he carried both in and out of uniform. The Hillsboro community proudly recognizes and thanks him for his service to our nation.
